Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work with families in Kahala and East Honolulu?
Yes. Our office is in Honolulu’s 96816 area, minutes from Kahala, Waialae, and Kaimuki, and we work with families throughout East Honolulu and across Oahu. We meet in person or by video, whichever you prefer.
What does “fee-based, fiduciary” mean for me?
We’re a fee-based firm: most of our compensation comes from transparent advisory fees for managing your investments and building your plan. In some cases — such as certain insurance or annuity products — we may also be compensated through commissions, which we disclose to you. As fiduciaries on the advisory side, we’re obligated to put your interests first and disclose any conflicts of interest.
Is there an account minimum?
Reach out and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit. Our first conversation is a complimentary consultation with no obligation.
Do you meet in person in Honolulu?
Yes — in person at our Honolulu office or by phone or video, whatever works for your schedule. We serve clients across the Hawaiian islands and several mainland states.
